Recidivist Cocaine Dealer Jailed for Five and a Half Years

Nicole Locke has been jailed for five years and six months after being found concerned in the supply of cocaine and crack cocaine, following a police investigation into a drug line operating across the Rhondda. The 33-year-old from Tonypandy pleaded guilty at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court to one count of being concerned in the supply of cocaine, one count of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, and acquiring or using criminal property.

Police Operation Targets Drug Line

Officers from the serious organised crime unit identified a phone number linked to a known drug line. In June 2026, they executed a warrant at an address in Tonypandy, where they found Locke in a bedroom. Upon arrest, her phone was seized, and the number matched the drug line. Officers also discovered a white plastic bag containing white powder and £155 in cash. A search of Locke’s car yielded £180 in cash, another bag of white powder, and a Kinder Egg containing white powder.

Previous Conviction for Similar Offences

WalesOnline previously reported in 2025 that Locke had pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. This latest conviction demonstrates a pattern of recidivism in drug-related crime.

Police Statement on Impact

After sentencing, Police Constable Justyn Lewis stated: “These illegal drugs have devastating consequences on the people further down the chain who end up using them, not to mention their family, friends and wider communities. We will continue to investigate any information you have which could relate to the sale or use of these drugs, including combating drug lines across the region.”
