Darren Lynn, a 45-year-old man wanted for stalking, may have fled to Scotland after evading capture for nearly a year. Durham police have been searching for him since August 2024 in connection with incidents in Ferryhill, County Durham, which occurred in June last year.

Lynn is wanted for stalking, breach of a restraining order, and making threats to commit criminal damage. The alleged incidents took place in Ferryhill, County Durham, in June 2024, according to Durham police. He is believed to have potential links to the Dumbarton area in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland.

A spokesperson from Spennymoor and Ferryhill Police stated: “We would like to speak to the 45-year-old in relation to stalking, a breach of his restraining order, and threats to commit criminal damage.”

Police Appeal and Public Safety

Durham police confirmed to the Record that Lynn has been wanted since August 2024. They added that there is no wider risk to the public. Police Scotland acknowledged the appeal from their counterparts in England and reiterated that Lynn could be in the West Dunbartonshire area, where he has connections.
