The best tip, chosen by Lonely Planet's Tom Hall, will win a £200 voucher for a Coolstays property, which offers over 3,000 accommodations worldwide. Winning entries will be featured in the Guardian Travel section and website.
How to Enter
Tips should be around 100 words. Participants may include a relevant photo, but the written entry is the primary judging criterion. Entrants must be UK residents for legal reasons. The competition closes on Monday 27 July 2025 at 10am BST.
Submission Guidelines
Readers can submit their travel tip via the provided form. Responses are anonymous if desired, and the form is encrypted for security. The Guardian will only use the data for the feature and will delete personal data when no longer needed. For alternative secure methods, refer to the tips guide.
