Legoland Windsor Welcomes Dogs for First Time on Select Christmas Dates
Legoland Windsor now allows dogs on selected dates

In a landmark move for pet-loving families, the Legoland Windsor Resort has announced it will welcome dogs into the park for the very first time. This exciting development is part of the resort's new 'Paws in the Park' initiative, designed to include four-legged family members in the festive celebrations.

Paws in the Park: The Key Details

The opportunity to bring your dog is limited to four specific dates this winter: November 30, December 7, 14, and 21. On these days, guests can explore the resort's enchanting Christmas Kingdom with their beloved pets during designated times and enjoy a host of live entertainment.

To gain entry, every dog must have a £10 Pet Pass, which can be purchased online in advance. Upon arrival, owners should enter through the main admissions gates and proceed directly to Guest Services to complete a mandatory Dog Owner Information form. Once checked in, the family, including the furry member, is free to enjoy the day.

A Festive Day Out for the Whole Family

The experience is tailored to be enjoyable for dogs and humans alike. Canine visitors will be treated to an exclusive 'pop badge' to commemorate their inaugural trip, a cherished collectible item among Legoland enthusiasts. They can soak up the festive atmosphere with a merry strolling brass band featuring the Nutcracker character and even participate in seasonal Lego building activities.

In a truly magical touch, dogs will be permitted to join their families for meet-and-greets with Father Christmas, ensuring no one misses out on the holiday photo opportunity.

Rules and Enthusiastic Reactions

The resort has established clear guidelines to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all guests. Owners are responsible for disposing of all dog waste and must bring their own supply of bags. It is also essential to bring food for your dog, as none will be available for purchase within the resort. Furthermore, any dog listed under the UK's Dangerous Dogs Breed Ban is strictly prohibited from entering.

The new scheme has been met with delight by dog owners. Gemma Todd shared her relief, stating, 'In the past we've had to arrange someone to stay behind and dog-sit which can limit our days out. Paws in the Park is a great initiative for all the family as it means our beloved pooch can now join in on the festive fun.'

Ramesh Ganeson, Vice-President at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, emphasised the inclusive spirit of the initiative: 'Christmas is about everyone being together and making awesome memories, so that's why this festive season we're welcoming furry canine friends into the park. This is a truly paw-fect way to celebrate the Christmas season with the entire family.'
