Amazon Prime Day is drawing to a close, but not before offering some of the best Apple audio deals of the year. Among the standout offers, the AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation have been reduced by £45 to a record low of £125, while the standard AirPods 4 have dropped below £80, representing a 33 per cent discount.
The Independent's tech critic David Phelan, who tested the AirPods 4 upon their launch in September 2024, praised their audio quality as “strong” and noted that listening to music is “exemplary” even without noise cancellation. He also highlighted the comfortable fit and the speaker in the case that helps locate lost earbuds.
Battery life stands at five hours with noise cancellation and four hours without, with a five-minute charge providing up to an hour of listening. The standard AirPods 4, lacking active noise cancellation, are described by Phelan as “the best-value AirPods ever” for their neat design and excellent sound.
Additional deals include a £130 saving on the over-ear AirPods Max, now priced at a discount, and £44 off the AirPods Pro 3, which offer eight hours of active noise cancellation per charge. Phelan called the Pro 3 “some of the best premium wireless earbuds you can buy.”
For those prone to losing their earbuds, a leather case from Mujjo is also discounted by over £10. Phelan endorsed the brand for its excellent leather cases with understated designs.
