An American woman living in England has caused a stir after reviewing Greggs on TikTok. User @kidsmealprincess, who documents her first-time experiences with British restaurants, initially had a mixed reaction to the bakery chain.
In her first visit, Sarah ordered an egg, ham, tomato, lettuce and mayonnaise sandwich and a drink for £5 from a service station. She praised the sandwich but felt it was overpriced, suggesting the meal deal should include crisps or a sausage roll. Commenters pointed out that the lunchtime deal is not usually £5 and advised her to try the steak bake and sausage roll instead.
Taking their advice, Sarah returned for a second attempt. This time she ordered a steak bake, a sausage roll, and a chicken bake, as recommended by a staff member. She rated the steak bake a perfect 10 out of 10, calling it 'incredible' and her favourite. The sausage roll was 'pretty good', and the chicken bake also impressed. However, she was less enthusiastic about her mocha, describing it as 'not the best.'
