Sephora Announces Belfast Store Opening Date in UK Expansion Drive

The iconic beauty brand Sephora has officially announced the opening date for its highly anticipated store in Belfast, marking a significant step in its ongoing UK expansion. The new outlet at Victoria Square will welcome customers on February 12, 2026, becoming the brand's 13th location since its celebrated return to the British market.

A Beauty Haven for Belfast

This launch is particularly notable as it represents Sephora UK's first foray onto the island of Ireland. The new Belfast store will be a substantial 2,550 sq ft space, positioned in the heart of the city's main shopping district. It follows a successful year of growth in 2025, which saw five new stores open in Liverpool, Sheffield, Manchester, Cardiff, and Oxford.

Sephora's store openings have become major cultural events, known for their vibrant atmosphere. The Belfast launch, dubbed a 'pure beaut' grand opening, will continue this tradition. It will feature entertainment from local talent, specially curated queue experiences, and treats from popular local food vendors.

Sephora's return to the UK in 2023, after exiting the market in 2005, has been met with remarkable success. Owned by the French luxury conglomerate LVMH, the brand stated it "could not have asked for a stronger return to the UK." Industry expert Greg Silverman of Interbrand has hailed Sephora as the "mothership of the modern-day beauty industry," praising its blend of luxury and accessibility.

The brand has an ambitious target to operate 20 stores across the UK by the end of 2026. Following the Belfast opening, the next confirmed new store will be in Bristol's Cabot Circus, scheduled to open later in the spring of 2026.
