High-street giant Primark has sent shoppers into a frenzy with the launch of a brand new, nostalgia-filled collection celebrating a major milestone for a beloved children's character.
A Century of Winnie-the-Pooh Celebrated in Style
The discount retailer has unveiled a special range dedicated to Winnie-the-Pooh, who is marking his 100th anniversary in late 2025 and early 2026. The honey-loving bear first appeared in a story in the London Evening News on December 24, 1925. Primark's collection, announced on Instagram, has been met with what fans describe as "cuteness overload," with many declaring they "need it all."
A Primark spokesperson stated on social media: "Just when you thought your mini and me wardrobe couldn’t get any cuter. Celebrate 100 years of our favourite bear with our new Winnie-the-Pooh collection." The range is available to Click and Collect in all stores across Great Britain, and shoppers can also check stock on the Primark website.
What's in the Primark Winnie-the-Pooh Range?
The collection features items for all ages, with prices starting from just £1.50 for a set of infant socks featuring iconic characters from the Hundred Acre Wood. A standout piece is a newborn pyjama set for £13, which includes a sleepsuit, bodysuit, leggings, a bib, and a hat. Primark suggests it's "a great clothing collection to help get a newborn’s wardrobe started."
Adults haven't been forgotten, with the range extending to cosy homewear and loungewear. Key items include:
- £8 Mule Slippers
- £14 Pointelle Pyjama Bottoms
- An £18 dark red jumper with a knitted design
- An extra fluffy Graphic Dressing Gown for £15
The collection also includes practical and homeware items, such as a £5 on-the-go food container with a spoon, a £10 throw blanket, and a matching £10 scatter cushion to add a touch of Disney magic to any room.
How to Shop the Primark Collection
The vast majority of the fashion and home items in this ongoing collaboration are available to order through Primark's Click and Collect service, subject to stock levels. Shoppers can use the online stock checker by entering their town, city, or postcode to find items at their nearest store, which is especially useful for products that cannot be reserved online.
In other Primark news, the retailer is also rolling out a new activewear collection designed by pop star Rita Ora, aimed at those pursuing New Year fitness goals. The range has received a mixed response, with some fans loving the designs and others comparing them to "PE uniforms."
