Primark's £6 Perfume Compared to £84 Gucci Fragrance

A Primark perfume priced at £6 has been compared to a Gucci fragrance costing £84. The Summer Blossom Eau de Parfum from Primark has been matched against Gucci Flora by a reviewer, highlighting a significant price difference for a similar scent.

Primark's Summer Bloom perfume features notes of rose, white flowers and pear, described as a fruity floral musky scent. According to Primark's website, the fragrance is intended to evoke memories of summer days spent picnicking and sunbathing.

MyLondon reporter Alexandra Bullard tested both perfumes. She found the Primark version powerful with just two sprays, and received compliments from friends. At Boots, she noted the Gucci Flora 50ml bottle costs £84, while the 100ml version is £111.

Bullard remarked on the similarity in appearance, with both having turquoise packaging and floral designs. She could not tell the two scents apart, noting that Gucci's key notes of magnolia and fruity jasmine were also present in the Primark dupe. She concluded that Primark's perfume is a budget-friendly buy, saving over £78 compared to the designer version.
