Supermarket chain Lidl has issued an urgent recall for its Starovice Czech Lager 5.0% due to undeclared sulphur dioxide, posing a potential health risk to those with sensitivities.

The affected product is the 500ml pack size with a best before date of October 16, 2022. Customers with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites are advised not to consume the beer and to return it to any Lidl store for a full refund.
