Lego and Crocs Launch Brick Clogs in 2026 Collaboration

Lego and Crocs have announced a collaboration to produce oversized, brick-shaped clogs, priced at £199. The footwear, designed to resemble Lego bricks, has sparked curiosity and scepticism in equal measure.

A prototype test revealed mixed results. The clogs kept feet warm, but their bulk made commuting in London twice as long. Navigating stairs and escalators proved precarious, with the wearer clinging to handrails for stability.

At a bowling alley, the rubber soles were permitted, but the shoes acted like 'giant anchors', leading to a fluked split followed by gutter balls. A fellow bowler commented, 'Nice shoes, mate,' as the wearer clomped away in embarrassment.

Attempts to enter Mayfair nightclubs failed. Bouncers cited dress code violations, with one describing the clogs as 'a health and safety violation and also hideous'. The shoes seemed to repel entry.

The wearer concluded that the clogs are less footwear and more a performance art piece, prioritising novelty over practicality. While feet survived, the ego required rebuilding.
