Apple's new iPhone 17 comes with a pair of free AirPods at one retailer. Apple fans can get their hands on the latest AirPods for free if they upgrade their phone this month. The deal is running for a limited time at Mobiles.co.uk, where customers can also secure a double data deal on the iPhone 17.

Apple's flagship smartphone comes in at £35.99 per month on iD Mobile's 200GB tariff and shoppers signing up to this deal will receive the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation delivered with the handset at no extra cost. The earbuds have an RRP of £179 and usually cost £169 when buying direct from Apple.
A caveat is that the deal has an upfront cost of £145, but customers have the option to increase the monthly payments to £40.99 for a lower upfront cost of £29. Both tariffs include the same double data deal, with 200GB for the price of 100GB.
Contract Details and Alternatives
It's worth noting that customers will see their bills rise twice during the 24-month contract, with the £35.99 tariff increasing to £31.79 from April 2027 and £33.59 from April 2028. Mobiles.co.uk has not set an end date for the deal, though, only confirming it's live 'while stock lasts'.
Elsewhere, Sky Mobile has quietly reduced the cost of its own iPhone 17 plan to £24.75 when spreading the cost, with £12 upfront. However, there's a catch with Sky's contracts, as they only include a 100MB data allowance, so heavier users will need to upgrade at additional cost. They're also longer than iD Mobile at 36 months, though customers can upgrade after 24 months. For those who prefer to buy their gadgets outright, the iPhone 17 is on sale at Amazon too, where the 256GB model is reduced from £799 to £749.
