Dad's 10-second side hustle makes £30k a month

A former British soldier has transformed his life by mastering a rapid-fire auction technique that generates an astonishing £30,000 per month in profit.

From Army Life To Auction King

Connor Stone, a 30-year-old father from Nottingham, faced significant challenges after leaving the army in 2023. The transition from military discipline to civilian life proved difficult for the veteran, who struggled to adapt to having complete control over his daily routine.

Initially, Connor began selling his unwanted clothes on Vinted as a way to earn pocket money for occasional treats like takeaways or the monthly food shop. What started as casual selling soon revealed his talent for reselling when his monthly earnings reached £2,000 - matching his income from his transportation job.

The Power Of Ten-Second Auctions

In April 2024, Connor made the bold decision to quit his job and become a full-time reseller. He quickly progressed from Vinted to Whatnot, where he discovered the power of live streaming and timed auctions.

His revolutionary approach involves selling each item in lightning-fast 10-second auctions that begin at just £1. This method creates urgency among bidders and often drives prices higher than traditional selling methods.

"People have 10 seconds to bid for an item," Connor explains. "A North Face coat brand new in the shop would cost £240. I'll sell it for £48. I've made £40 in 10 seconds. In half an hour I made a £1,400 profit on £1,900 worth of stock."

Building A Reselling Empire

Connor's business, BZR clothing, now operates from a proper warehouse and has sold an impressive 52,000 items on the platform. He spends approximately £10,000 monthly purchasing stock in bulk from wholesalers and brands including North Face, Patagonia, and Ralph Lauren.

His philosophy focuses on rapid turnover rather than maximum profit per item. "Think about what the product owes you rather than what it's worth," he advises aspiring resellers.

Connor also emphasises the importance of market awareness, noting that celebrity endorsements can significantly impact demand. "If you see David Beckham wear North Face you know it's going to do well. If you see Molly Mae in some Adidas trainers you know that will do well."

Despite frequently being asked why he doesn't charge higher prices, Connor maintains his strategy of offering genuine bargains while still achieving substantial profits through volume and speed.
