Boots' 24 Beauty Stars premium Advent calendar for 2025 has sold out, according to an expert review that named it the best overall beauty Advent calendar of the season. The calendar, which features 24 beauty products, was among the top picks in a comprehensive test of 27 calendars from department stores and brands.
The expert, who holds a certification in cosmetic science and tests health and beauty products professionally, evaluated each calendar on product range, usefulness, and packaging sustainability. The Boots calendar was praised for its broad appeal and value, but it is no longer available for purchase.
Other calendars that have sold out include the Space NK beauty Advent calendar, which sold out at the end of September, and the Cult Beauty calendar. However, several options remain, including the Next 25 days of beauty Advent calendar and the Elemis Wonders Advent calendar.
The review highlighted that most calendars are made from recyclable or reusable packaging, and many products can be recycled through schemes like Recycle at Boots, which offers Advantage card points for returned empties. Unused products from the testing were donated to a domestic abuse service.
