Deals for Fans

Asda has also launched several deals for football enthusiasts. This includes a 'two for £10' offer on Exceptional by Asda pizza and beers when ordered through Deliveroo. Just Eat users can get up to 50% off breakfast items, snacks, and soft drinks on match days. Uber Eats is offering up to 40% off a wide range of products during the group stages and knockout rounds, including crisps, frozen party food, and ice cream.

Other Supermarkets Join In

Asda is not alone in extending delivery hours for the 2026 World Cup. The Co-op announced a similar move last week, affecting around 180 stores. Its online deliveries, usually ending at 10pm, will be available until one hour after kick-off for all six group stage matches. Participating stores in Scotland include Aberdeen and Glasgow.

Morrisons is offering a free hot or cold drink to customers wearing the shirt of a participating team, available at all 343 cafes until June 28 with no minimum spend, though limited to one per customer per day.

Aldi has teamed up with three Scottish bakers on a new range of pies for the World Cup, including the Scottish Stovies Pie, Tartan Army Pie, and others priced at £1.99 and £2.49.

The extended hours come as anticipation builds for Scotland's match against Morocco, following a 1-0 win against Haiti. Fans have taken over Boston, causing bars to run out of beer and adorning the Robert Burns statue with a traffic cone hat.
