Aldi Unveils Lickable Pigs in Blankets Wrapping Paper

Aldi has launched what it claims is the world's first lickable wrapping paper that tastes like pigs in blankets. The budget supermarket says the novelty paper captures the smoky, savoury flavour and smell of the festive treat, with stickers that peel back to reveal a lickable experience.

The wrapping paper, inspired by Aldi's Specially Selected Double Wrapped Pigs in Blankets range, features a pastel pink design with holly and snowflake patterns. From November 24, customers can enter a competition to win a roll by emailing wrappingpaper@aldi.co.uk.

Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi UK, said: 'Pigs in Blankets are a highlight of the festive season and following our Good Housekeeping award win for the new Specially Selected Double Wrapped Pigs in Blankets, we wanted to create something special to celebrate the Christmas classic.'
