Alan Carr and Amanda Holden's Greek Villa Price Slashed

Alan Carr and Amanda Holden's luxury Greek villa, renovated for their BBC show, has reportedly suffered an awkward setback as its asking price has been slashed. The property on the island of Corfu was put on the market for €675,000 (£572,000) in February, but according to The Sun, the price has now been reduced to €530,000 (£449,000).

Renovation Project for Charity

The pair spent weeks bringing the dilapidated home up to a high standard for the BBC series 'Alan and Amanda's Greek Job'. Proceeds from the sale are designated for Children in Need and Comic Relief. Despite their efforts, finding a buyer has proven challenging.

This is not the first renovation project for the duo. Their first series saw them tackle two houses in Sicily, bought for just one euro each. Those homes were put on the market last year for over £125,000. They have also undertaken projects in northern Tuscany and Andalusia in Spain.

Challenging Greek Adventure

Alan and Amanda have admitted the Greek project was their most challenging. Speaking to Woman magazine, they revealed the house was missing stairs, floors, and even windows. Amanda described it as the 'worst' project they've ever done.

Estate agents handling the sale described the property as 'Alamanda', fully and sensitively restored by a well-known local developer. The two-bedroom house features marble-style worktops, stone flooring, and a landscaped garden with sea views.

Despite the price cut, the agents remain optimistic, stating the property has 'interesting design features and modern facilities, whilst maintaining plenty of traditional features.'
