The series, written by Tony Schumacher of The Responder fame, delves into the perilous world of two casino employees in Liverpool who inadvertently become embroiled in organized crime.

Plot Overview
Sheridan Smith portrays Leanne, a woman struggling to care for her grandmother with dementia while facing homelessness. Michael Socha plays Matty, a gambling addict. Both work at The Envoy casino and secretly steal small amounts, believing they can solve their personal crises. However, their scheme unravels when feared crime boss Gary Packer (Barry Sloane) discovers the theft.
The cast also includes Geraldine James as Nancy, Gary's mother; Sophie Mensah as Detective Sergeant Fen Ning; and rising stars Freya Jones and Anton Bibby.
