Other Recent Recalls
The dumbbell recall is part of a series of product safety actions across the United States. Last week, over 200,000 pairs of 32 Degrees Heated Socks sold at Costco were recalled after 14 reported incidents, including 13 cases of first- or second-degree burns. The socks posed an injury hazard when worn during high-intensity activities generating friction, heat, moisture, and pressure.
Earlier this month, approximately 740,000 sets of Granitestone Diamond Pro Blue stainless steel sauté pans, sold at Costco, Walmart, and Amazon from August 2021 to February 2026 for around $40, were recalled. The CPSC warned that the metal cap on the screw connecting the pan to the handle can detach and forcefully eject when heated. Nearly 100 reports of cap detachment were received, with one incident resulting in bruising and burn injuries.
