McDonald's Launches KPop Demon Hunters Menu with Netflix After Big Arch Burger
McDonald's KPop Demon Hunters Menu Launch with Netflix (27.03.2026)

McDonald's has announced a major collaboration with Netflix to introduce a special menu inspired by the animated movie KPop Demon Hunters, just weeks after debuting its largest-ever burger, the Big Arch, in the United States. The fast-food giant revealed that this new partnership will bring limited-edition items to U.S. customers starting March 31, 2026.

Rival Meals and Exclusive Flavours

The menu features two dueling adult combo meals, each representing the rival KPop groups from the film: HUNTR/X and the Saja Boys. According to McDonald's, these offerings are designed to engage fans and celebrate Korean culture. Alyssa Buetikofer, the chain's chief marketing and customer experience officer, stated in a press release, "Everything we do at McDonald's is for the fans, and no one can relate to that more than Netflix and KPop Demon Hunters. Big things happen when you bring two massive fandoms together, and this partnership was a natural fit."

Details of the Combo Meals

The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal is available exclusively during morning hours and includes a Sausage McMuffin with Egg, topped with a peppery Spicy Saja Sauce, along with Hash Browns and a small soft drink. In contrast, the HUNTR/X meal can be ordered for lunch or dinner, featuring a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, a medium soft drink, and Ramyeon McShaker Fries. These fries come with a soy, garlic, sesame, and spice seasoning inspired by the ramen enjoyed by the girl group in the movie. Customers are instructed to sprinkle the umami seasoning into a McShaker bag, add the fries, and shake to distribute the flavours.

Both meals are accompanied by special sauces: Hunter Sauce, a spicy sweet chili sauce, and Demon Sauce, a purple-colored mustard sauce. Additionally, each combo includes a collectible card back with a QR code and a photocard for either HUNTR/X or the Saja Boys. By scanning the code on the McDonald's App by April 26, fans can access exclusive content, enhancing the interactive experience.

New McFlurry and Cultural Inspiration

The menu also introduces the Derpy McFlurry, a purple dessert based on the Derpy Tiger character from the film. McDonald's describes it as blending creamy vanilla soft serve with berry popping pearls, enrobed in a wild berry sauce. This item will be available a la carte, adding a sweet option to the themed offerings.

Marian Lee, the chief marketing officer for Netflix, commented on the collaboration, saying, "With McDonald's, we were able to turn the rivalry between The Saja Boys and Huntr/X into something fans can actually experience, drawing inspiration from Korean culture and food traditions that sit at the heart of the film." This initiative follows the recent launch of the Big Arch burger in the U.S., part of McDonald's ongoing efforts to refresh its spring menu and attract customers with innovative promotions.
