McDonald's UK Adds Permanent McCrispy Variants and World Cup Menu

McDonald's UK has introduced a football-themed menu for June, featuring new World Cup specials and permanent additions to its McCrispy range. The fast-food chain, which updates its menu every six weeks, is offering two new burgers, sides, collectible items, and sweet treats to celebrate the FIFA tournament.

The World Cup-inspired burger, priced at £9.19, includes two beef patties, cheese, bacon, crispy and grilled onions, lettuce, and sweet Carolina BBQ sauce in a toasted bun. For chicken lovers, the Mexican Chipotle Chicken burger (£7.49) features a crispy chicken breast with chipotle mayo, smoky sauce, slivered and crispy onions, lettuce, and white cheddar cheese in a football-shaped bun.

New sides include Crunchy Cheese Bites (£2.79), filled with Gouda and mozzarella in a crispy coating. Meals start from £9.29 for a medium Big Mac Meal, which comes with a collectable cup. The fan-favourite McFlurry returns, with Galaxy Chocolate option staying, priced at £1.89 (mini) or £2.59 (regular). A new matcha green tea drink (£3.69) is also available.

Breakfast sees the launch of Frank's RedHot Ketchup, available in Sausage & Egg McMuffin and Breakfast Wrap options. The Big Tasty burger, now with a quarter-pounder patty, returns at £6.29 (single) or £7.99 (double).
