The Guardian has issued corrections and clarifications for several recent articles. Notably, a 13 July article on page 31 incorrectly attributed a prediction of a 14.3% drop in global agricultural production after an extreme El Niño weather cycle to the bank UniCredit. In fact, the prediction was made by the climate analysts Risilience. The article, titled 'Godzilla El Niño may trigger global food price shock lasting into 2028,' has been corrected.
Image Misidentification
Additionally, a 9 July article in G2 on page 8 featured an image from Glastonbury 1986 that was said to be of Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians. However, the image actually depicted the Australian band the Go-Betweens. The article was titled 'I’ve avoided success and failure. It’s fantastic!'
