Samsung's New Robot Vacuum Cleans & Monitors Your Home
Samsung's AI Vacuum Cleans Floors & Guards Home

Samsung has unveiled a sophisticated new robot vacuum that promises to revolutionise home maintenance by tackling far more than just dust. The Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra, announced on 5 January 2026, is designed to autonomously clean and even keep a watchful eye on your property when you're away.

More Than Just a Cleaner

This isn't your average robotic hoover. The device emerges from its charging dock independently to navigate your floors. Beyond powerful suction for dirt, its standout feature is the ability to mop up liquid spills, including coffee, juice, and water. This dual functionality positions it as a comprehensive cleaning solution.

Advanced technology drives its performance. An Active Stereo 3D Sensor helps the vacuum identify and deal with messes effectively. Furthermore, an integrated camera serves a dual purpose: aiding navigation and obstacle avoidance, and transforming the device into a home security tool.

Your Digital Guard Dog

When homeowners are out, the vacuum's camera enables it to monitor the property. It can send notifications about pet activity or any suspicious movement, offering an extra layer of security. Samsung has also enhanced its Bixby voice assistant integration, allowing for more natural, conversational commands to instruct the robot to clean specific spills or areas.

The company detailed the tech behind the innovation: "Powered by a Qualcomm Dragonwing processor, it offers deep learning-based AI Object Recognition to better detect humans, cats and dogs, as well as hard-to-see obstacles like cables or rugs."

Intelligent Spill Detection

A key upgrade is the AI Liquid Recognition system. This allows the robot to detect liquid spills and decide whether to clean or avoid them based on the user's preset preferences, adding a significant layer of automated decision-making.

While Samsung has showcased the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra's impressive capabilities, the firm has not yet released pricing information. Consumers eager for this all-in-one cleaning and monitoring assistant will have to stay tuned for further updates.
