Police in Nottinghamshire are urgently searching for a driver who struck multiple pedestrians in Arnold town centre early Saturday morning, leaving one man with life-threatening injuries.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:12am in Market Place, Arnold, when a red Vauxhall Astra collided with several people. The driver immediately abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
Nottinghamshire Police have identified a suspect, described as a white man, and are actively pursuing him. Road closures remain in place in Arnold town centre as investigations continue.
Authorities are appealing for any witnesses or individuals with dashcam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage to come forward to assist with the inquiry.
The injured man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, and his condition is being monitored.
