Monkey Town Kirkby opens: 16,000sq ft play centre

Monkey Town, a 16,000sq ft indoor play centre, opens on Sunday, October 18, on Cherryfield Drive, opposite Kirkby Bus Station. The venue brings a range of family attractions to Merseyside, including a large, multi-level jungle-themed play structure for children aged three and over.

Jungle-themed play and toddler areas

The main play structure features racing, spiral and Astra slides, climbing nets, monkey bars, bridges and obstacle courses. A colourful climbing volcano is designed to help children develop their strength and coordination.

Babies and toddlers have their own dedicated play area, with gentle slides, themed rockers, soft-play shapes, stepping drums and sensory activities.

Interactive attractions and sports pitch

Other attractions include a Pixel Floor with digital games, Laser Town for children aged four and over, an interactive ball pool with digital games and an enclosed sports pitch featuring football markings and interactive target games.

Parents and carers can relax in the café seating area while remaining close to the action.

Unlimited playtime for families

Josh Buxton, UK country director for 24 Indoor, said: “We have created much more than a traditional soft-play centre, combining a huge multi-level play structure with exciting interactive attractions including Laser Town, the Pixel Floor and our interactive ball pool.

“With unlimited playtime and free entry for adults, we want families to be able to relax, stay and enjoy the experience without watching the clock. We are incredibly excited to become part of the Kirkby community.”

Monkey Town Kirkby opens seven days a week, with Standard and Deluxe birthday party packages offering food, drinks and hours of indoor fun.
