Andoni Iraola fears Liverpool will be without Dominik Szoboszlai and Jeremie Frimpong "for some time" after the pair picked up injuries in the controversial Premier League victory at nine-man Brentford.
Alexander Isak scored the winner to secure a 2-1 triumph at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon after Victor Munoz had equalised Keane Lewis-Potter's first-half header.
Double Injury Blow
The Reds were hit with a double injury blow when Szoboszlai was forced off shortly after the half-hour mark with a recurrence of the hamstring problem that ruled him out of the previous two games, while Frimpong was replaced just seven minutes after coming on at half-time for Ronald Araujo at right-back.
Both will now have a spell on the sidelines with the Reds three games into a busy spell of nine matches in 29 days in three competitions.
Iraola's Concerns
Iraola said: "We have a very delicate situation because at the end we were coming from playing Champions League away (against LASK in Austria) two days ago.
"We arrived back late at night and probably didn't have the proper recovery. So you are like in doubt between the players who have already started two games and are very tired, or the players who are recovering from injuries on whom you are not 100% sure.
"Dom felt the same injury, so that injury probably isn't healed enough so we will need more time with him.
"Jeremie was new. He finished the game cramping the other day. I put him in because playing against 10 I thought he would give us more going forward than Ronald (Araujo).
"After that, Victor (Munoz) was very good playing as a right-back. But it will mean we will lose Dom and Jeremie for some time."
Red Card Controversy
The game turned on a red card in first-half additional time shown to Brentford defender Yehor Yarmoliuk after referee John Brooks adjudged him to have used a head-butting motion towards Liverpool centre-back Jeremy Jacquet.
When asked on the incident, Iraola said: "I have to say I've seen it on the screen and I'm not sure if it was or not."
Brentford ended the game with nine men when skipper Vitaly Janelt was dismissed during injury time for a second bookable offence when fouling Liverpool substitute Rio Ngumoha.
