Two British heavyweights will go head-to-head this weekend when Fabio Wardley and Daniel Dubois clash in Manchester. The fighters will step into the ring at Co-op Live on Saturday, May 9, as the main event of 'Don't Blink'.
Fight Details
This will be the first occasion Wardley (20-0-1, 19 KOs) has defended his WBO title since it was elevated from interim status following his victory over Joseph Parker in October. Meanwhile, Dubois (22-3, 21 KOs) would be crowned heavyweight world champion for a second time if he emerges victorious.
Despite the bout being just days away, boxing enthusiasts can still snap up last-minute tickets from various official sellers. These include a host of general admission options alongside VIP and hospitality packages.
VIP and Hospitality Tickets
Seat Unique offers a host of official VIP and hospitality packages for the fight, but there are now fewer than 10 tickets up for grabs. These are for the Lounge package at £179 per person. With this option, fans can watch the fight from seats next to the stage in the suite level of the venue and gain access to a 'luxurious' private bar serving food and drink without enduring lengthy general admission queues. The Lounge will also have a dedicated suite attendant on hand throughout the evening. Bear in mind, however, that fans will need to stump up an £8.95 booking fee per ticket.
Those looking to get closer to the action can opt for a Ticketmaster VIP Package, ranging from £109.95 to £854.50 per person, with the most premium option offering ringside seats and access to the exclusive Co-op Backstage Club. This also includes a complimentary food and drinks package and event programme at no extra cost.
General Admission Tickets
Ticketmaster is still offering general admission tickets in most areas of the Co-op Live arena, with prices starting at £49.95 for those in the upper tiers. Prices understandably increase closer to the ring, with many in the lower tiers listed from £174.95 each. Floor tickets are the priciest general admission option on offer, ranging from £174.95 to £570.95. For that extra outlay, however, guests find themselves right beside the ring in blocks C1-C3, second only to the VIP area. Customers should be aware that Ticketmaster adds additional fees of up to £3.25 to each order.
Resale Tickets
Finally, a number of resale tickets are also up for grabs at sites like StubHub and viagogo. These are official tickets bought by fans who have listed them for sale on the sites and may cost more than face value, with many single or multiple ticket options available. Prices here can fluctuate closer to the event, but at time of writing the most affordable are £74.84 each at StubHub. These are located in the Co-op's upper tier, while lower tier seats start at £151.69 and floor seats at £301.24. There's also several VIP ticket options, but these £800 face value tickets are listed for £1,204.96 each. This could change in the days leading up to the fight as sellers reduce their prices to make a sale, but this is never guaranteed. The same applies to viagogo, where tickets currently range from £71 to £1,233. Again, the cheaper options are located furthest from the ring, with prices increasing in the lower tier and floor.
Stream Wardley vs Dubois on DAZN
For viewers opting to stay at home, Wardley vs Dubois will stream live via DAZN. There's now two ways to watch: order the pay-per-view for a one-off £24.99, or get it included at no extra cost with DAZN Ultimate Tier. Boxing fans can get the Fabio Wardley vs Daniel Dubois PPV at no extra cost when signing up for DAZN Ultimate Tier. As well as 12 PPVs each year including Usyk vs Rico, this provides access to more than 185 fight nights per year with a single subscription. This new premium membership includes a minimum of 12 PPVs annually, such as Usyk vs Rico (May 23) and Joshua vs Prenga (July 25). It also grants access to over 185 fight nights featuring promoters including Queensbury, Matchroom and Misfits. DAZN estimates its Ultimate Tier provides potential yearly savings of £320 when weighed against purchasing 12 individual PPV events. There's one catch, however: shoppers must commit to a 12-month contract to secure these prices and perks.
