England have announced their 15-player squad for the upcoming Women's T20 World Cup, which will be held on home soil this summer. The most notable inclusion is uncapped slow left-arm spinner Tilly Corteen-Coleman, who at 18 years old has been called up to replace the injured leg-spinner Sarah Glenn. Glenn is sidelined due to a broken finger.
Young Talent Secures Place
Corteen-Coleman was recently signed in The Hundred for a six-figure deal, highlighting her rapid rise in the sport. Her selection adds a fresh dimension to England's spin attack.
Other Key Inclusions and Omissions
All-rounder Dani Gibson, who was the most expensive English player in The Hundred, returns to the squad after an injury-hit 2025 campaign. Fast bowlers Issy Wong and Lauren Filer have been preferred over Em Arlott.
However, there is no room for experienced batter Tammy Beaumont, who has 109 international caps. Highly-rated 19-year-old opener Davina Perrin, who made headlines last year with a 42-ball century in The Hundred, also misses out on selection.
The squad reflects a blend of youth and experience as England aim to lift the T20 World Cup trophy on home turf.
