Sonic Drive-In has launched a buy-one-get-one-free deal on its Double Sonic Smasher burger for the 2025 NFL season. The promotion is available exclusively through the Sonic App and resets weekly until September 28.
The Double Sonic Smasher features two hand-smashed, seasoned Angus beef patties with melted cheese, diced onions, crinkle-cut pickles, and the chain’s signature Smasher sauce on a soft potato bun. The deal is part of Sonic’s “Where Football Goes to Burger” campaign.
To redeem, customers must order via the Sonic App as registered users. The offer is not valid for delivery and cannot be combined with other promotions. Add-ons cost extra, and availability varies by location.
Sonic is also offering two limited-time fall items: Salted Caramel Toffee Croissant Bites and Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee. The 2025 NFL season kicks off on Thursday with the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Dallas Cowboys at 8:20 p.m. EST on NBC and Peacock.
