Premier League Predictor: How You Measured Up in Gameweek 17's Challenge
Premier League Predictor: Gameweek 17 Results Revealed

The latest round of Daily Mail Sport's Premier League Predictor challenge has concluded, testing the football foresight of fans and experts alike during a dramatic Gameweek 17.

The Gameweek 17 Fixtures and Results

The action kicked off on Boxing Day, where Manchester United secured a 1-0 victory over Newcastle thanks to a first-half stunner from Patrick Dorgu. The Predictor then focused on seven key matches across Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday's early fixture saw Manchester City continue their title charge with a 2-1 away win at Nottingham Forest. Later that day, league leaders Arsenal held firm to beat Brighton 2-1 at the Emirates. The clash between Burnley and Everton at Turf Moor proved to be the only goalless draw from the selected games.

Reigning champions Liverpool added to Wolves' relegation worries with a 2-1 win at Anfield. The struggles continued for West Ham, who fell to a 1-0 London derby defeat at home to Fulham. In another thrilling capital clash, Aston Villa's impressive form continued as they came from behind to win 2-1 at Chelsea.

The final fixture of the round was another London derby, where Tottenham triumphed 1-0 at Crystal Palace, clipping the Eagles' wings.

How the Experts Fared

Our nominated expert for the week, Kieran Gill, scored a respectable four points from his predictions. However, he was outperformed by colleagues Jack Gaughan and Lewis Steele, who both top-scored among the Mail Sport experts with five points each.

That haul was enough to propel Jack Gaughan to the top of the season's expert leaderboard, moving one point clear of James Sharpe, who managed three points this weekend. Tom Collomosse also scored three, while Nathan Salt slipped to third after registering just one point.

Think You Can Do Better?

Among the wider player base across the country, 12 participants managed a perfect score of seven points, achieving a full house of correct predictions.
