Olise's Masterclass: Bayern Munich Thrash Freiburg 6-2 in Bundesliga Spectacle
Olise inspires Bayern's stunning 6-2 comeback win

In a breathtaking display of attacking football, Bayern Munich produced a stunning second-half performance to demolish SC Freiburg 6-2 at the Allianz Arena, with Michael Olise delivering a career-defining performance.

Freiburg's Shock Lead and Bayern's Swift Response

The Bundesliga champions found themselves in an unfamiliar position, trailing by two goals after just 17 minutes. The visitors executed two perfectly worked set-pieces, first with Yuito Suzuki tapping home from close range in the 12th minute after a clever corner routine.

Just five minutes later, Freiburg doubled their advantage when Johan Manzambi rose unmarked at the far post to head past Manuel Neuer, sending shockwaves through the Munich stadium.

However, Bayern's response was immediate and emphatic. The comeback began in the 21st minute when Lennart Karl finished expertly after being set up by Olise. The French international then turned from provider to scorer, unleashing a powerful shot to level the match in first-half stoppage time.

Second-Half Domination Seals Victory

After the break, Bayern completed their remarkable turnaround in the 55th minute when Olise's perfectly delivered corner found Dayot Upamecano, who volleyed home from close range.

The floodgates had well and truly opened, with Harry Kane adding Bayern's fourth just five minutes later – his 14th league goal of the season – continuing his phenomenal scoring form.

Olise wasn't finished yet, embarking on a dazzling solo run before setting up Nicolas Jackson for the fifth goal in the 78th minute. The former Crystal Palace man saved his best for last, curling a spectacular effort into the top corner to complete his brace and cap a memorable individual performance.

In other Bundesliga action, Deniz Undav scored a dramatic hat-trick, including a last-gasp equaliser, to secure a 3-3 draw for Stuttgart against Borussia Dortmund. The substitute Karim Adeyemi had thought he'd won it for Dortmund with an 89th-minute strike, only for Undav to spoil the celebration in stoppage time.

Meanwhile in Spain, Ferran Torres scored twice as Barcelona marked their emotional return to the rebuilt Camp Nou with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao. Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring in front of a sold-out crowd in their first match at the ground in 909 days, with Torres adding a second before the break.

The victory sees Barcelona climb to the top of La Liga on 31 points, level with rivals Real Madrid, while Bayern Munich maintain their position at the Bundesliga summit with 31 points.
