Champion jockey Oisin Murphy is poised for a successful evening at Kempton Park this Wednesday, with expert tipster Newsboy selecting him for a potential double victory.
Murphy's Mounts Lead The Charge
The highlight of Murphy's evening is set to be Up The Anti, Newsboy's Nap selection in the 6.00 Bet £20 Get £20 With Unibet Handicap. The Tony Carroll-trained filly, who is a daughter of Holy Roman Emperor, stunned punters with a 50-1 win over six furlongs at the same Sunbury track just 28 days ago.
That performance saw her come from well off the pace to snatch victory from Pinjarra by half a length. Despite being raised only 3lb in the weights for that success, she is strongly fancied to follow up over the extended seven-furlong trip.
Second Star of the Evening
An hour later, Murphy switches to partner Rajinoora for trainer Michael Bell in the 7.00 Try Unibet's Same Race Multi Handicap over a mile. This four-year-old filly, who is relatively lightly raced, opened her account at Epsom in July.
After a break of 133 days, she returned to action at Chelmsford 27 days ago, putting in a fine effort to finish a length and a half behind Tonal, despite conceding 11lb to the winner. Racing off a mark just 2lb higher tonight, significant improvement is anticipated.
