Punting expert Newsboy has identified his standout selections for Monday's quartet of UK race meetings, with a strong focus on the all-weather action at Kempton Park and the jumps card at Plumpton. His best bet of the day, the Nap, is set to run in the feature race at Sunbury.
Kempton Park Nap Ready To Deliver
All eyes will be on Kempton Park for its nine-race Flat card, where the Listed Unibet Hyde Stakes (3.27) takes centre stage. Newsboy's NAP selection for this one-mile contest is Chancellor, who he believes will provide excellent value for money.
The three-year-old gelding, trained by the powerhouse partnership of John and Thady Gosden, has shown significant promise. After winning on his debut as a juvenile at Doncaster and securing another novice victory later on, he hit a slight rough patch at the start of this season.
However, a wind operation and being gelded during the summer appear to have worked wonders. Returning from a six-month lay-off at the beginning of November, Chancellor was transformed, battling to a narrow neck victory over the well-fancied Sarab Star in a seven-furlong handicap over this same Kempton track.
With major prize-money on the line and the Gosden yard's reputation, Newsboy expects a big performance from Chancellor in this feature event.

Over the obstacles at Plumpton, Newsboy's Next Best (NB) comes in the form of No More Bolero in the Kalm Kitchen Christmas Handicap Hurdle (3.05).
The six-year-old, who was a three-time winner on the Flat in France, finally opened his account over hurdles in spectacular fashion just a week ago. Under the guidance of trainer James Owen, he romped to a 13-length success at Ludlow.
The capable Harry Cobden retains the ride, and with the gelding appearing to be well-handicapped, Newsboy fancies him to lead his rivals a merry dance once again.
