Angry Ginge's Sister Tasha Shares Heartfelt Pride Ahead of I'm A Celeb Final
Angry Ginge's Sister Speaks Ahead of I'm A Celeb Final

As the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! final approaches, the sister of favourite Angry Ginge has shared a touching and honest statement about her brother's jungle journey. Tasha Burtwistle spoke of her immense pride for her sibling, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, as he stands on the cusp of being crowned King of the Jungle.

A Dream Come True for the Manchester Streamer

Tasha revealed that appearing on the hit ITV show was a long-held ambition for the social media star from Manchester. "I knew it was on his bucket list," she admitted. "Something he never thought he'd actually get to do, so I was just really happy for him." She expressed her thrill at how far he has already come in his career, proudly stating that he is "smashing it."

Having had a brief taste of camp life herself when relatives surprised the celebrities earlier this week, Tasha has been closely following his progress. She described watching him on TV as "amazing and honestly hilarious," confessing, "he's surprised me with all the things he's done in there. I couldn't be any prouder of him."

The Infamous 'Sweet-Gate' and Sibling Honesty

Tasha also addressed one of the series' most talked-about moments: the 'sweet-gate' scandal. Alongside campmates Aitch and Kelly Brook, Ginge won 20 sweets for the camp but the trio secretly kept half for themselves, eating them before returning to base.

With a laugh, Tasha owned up to her brother's mischievous side, saying, "It was literally the one thing we told him not to do though! But I guess that's what makes it even funnier." The secret was later exposed when a voted-out Kelly Brook attempted to reveal the deceit to the camp, leading Vogue Williams to declare there were "snakes in the camp."

Final Hurdle Cleared as Aitch Exits

Ginge's path to the final was seemingly cleared after the surprise exit of fellow bookies' favourite, rapper Aitch, on Saturday, December 7th. Aitch joked in his exit interview that if he had wanted to cause real disruption over the sweets, he could have done a better job, and noted the trio had the perfect excuse as they had also won Jack Osbourne his letter from home.

His departure, however, left fans online "shook," with many expressing disbelief on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). A popular theory emerged that voters may have assumed Aitch was safe and used their votes elsewhere, inadvertently leading to his fourth-place finish.

Now, with the final showdown imminent, Tasha reflects on her brother's transformation in the public eye. "He's gone in as 'the streamer' and look at him now!" she said, acknowledging that such success was likely beyond his expectations. For Tasha and the Burtwistle family, no matter the outcome of the final vote, their Manchester-born star has already made them profoundly proud.
