Millie Bright, the formidable centre-back who captained England to European Championship glory, has announced her retirement from international football following the Lionesses' Euro 2025 campaign.
The Chelsea defender, known for her uncompromising tackles and leadership qualities, confirmed her decision to step away after representing England 84 times over a distinguished nine-year international career.

Bright's international journey reaches its conclusion after what she describes as "the hardest decision of my life." The 31-year-old played a pivotal role in England's historic Euro 2022 triumph at Wembley and their subsequent run to the 2023 World Cup final.
