Man Utd Consults Fans on New Stadium Plans

Manchester United have launched the next phase of fan consultation on their proposed £2 billion, 100,000-capacity stadium. The club has invited supporters to share views on facilities, seating, and pricing options through a survey conducted by research company CSL.

The consultation follows an initial phase a year ago that canvassed over 50,000 fans, as well as focus groups held in July. United aim to use the feedback to shape the next stage of design development for the stadium, which is planned to open for the 2030-31 season.

All match-going supporters, including season ticket holders, official members, and hospitality purchasers, received an email on Thursday with a link to the survey. The club is committed to retaining and enhancing match-day atmosphere, ensuring the Stretford End's vibrant support is not diluted in the new stadium.

United have pledged to keep ticket prices affordable for young fans by introducing premium options to subsidise lower-cost tickets. The survey will present hypothetical product and pricing scenarios across seating categories to gauge demand, and will also explore a potential seat licence option for longer-term ticket rights.

The club emphasised that traditional season ticket holders would retain their benefits, including the same seat for every game and access to away and cup final tickets. United stated their commitment to placing fans at the heart of the planning process for the future of Old Trafford.
