The second day of the Blackpool Airshow takes place today, Sunday, August 9, with another day of spectacular aerial displays and flypasts. The line-up includes some of the world's best aircraft and the very best in British aviation.
Spectators can watch the RAF Typhoon display team and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, including the iconic Spitfire, Hurricane and C-47 Dakota. US fighters are also participating, featuring the P-47 Thunderbolt, P-51 Mustang and Spitfire.
Aerobatic displays and ground attractions
In addition to the aircraft, there will be thrilling aerobatic displays by Xtremeair, an aircraft specifically designed for tumbles and loops; the Red Devils, the Army's official parachute display team; and the Aerosuperbatics Wingwalkers.
On land, the Air Show Village is open from 12pm to 7pm each day, located along the promenade and on the Tower Festival Headland. It features traders and vendors selling merchandise, along with exhibits and food and drink stalls.
