The president recently won both the club and senior championships at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, posting a score of 70 to finish two-under par.

Footage of Trump's putting method, which features an open stance and a compact, wrist-led movement, circulated online after his latest victory. Viewers on X were quick to poke fun at his misses and mishits. One user sarcastically wrote, "It's so interesting how he won 43 Club Championships with this masterful putting stroke," while another said, "He looks like me at the putt putt course - I suck too." A third added, "He has a horrible putting stroke. If anything goes in it's pure luck. The guy is terrible."
Some came to Trump's defense, arguing that the compilation of missed putts actually showed quality shots that left easy tap-ins. One person said, "You're showing 20 footers he's leaving to tap in range," while another contended, "Those are all good putts. Every one leaves him a tap in. I hope you don't think he (or anyone) is supposed make 25 footers on a regular basis."

Trump announced his win on Truth Social, posting footage of his decisive putt and writing, "The Winning Shot in the Bedminster Club Championship!" He added, "Thank you very much to all of those who participated. I won with a score of 70, and am so honored in that, unlike the rest of the field, I'm given very little time to practice, because I'm focused on many other things. It's called TALENT, and I have it, and they don't!"
Trump reportedly boasts a 2.8 handicap with the USGA and has claimed he has secured at least 40 club championships across his 15 golf properties worldwide.
Past Accusations
Sports journalist Rick Reilly, author of the 2019 book Commander in Cheat, previously dismantled Trump's claims of golf victories. Reilly told Vox in 2019, "Trump's going around telling people he has won 20. But that's 100 percent a lie. I actually played with him once, and he told me how he does it. Whenever he opens a new golf course, because he owns 14 and operates another five, he plays the first club champion by himself and declares that the club championship and puts his name on the wall."
