While recovering from a devastating, season-ending ankle injury, the rookie took to the live-streaming platform, where he left viewers baffled and amused. In a now-viral moment, Skattebo lifted his shirt and embarked on a philosophical debate about the correct method for consuming a taco.
He pondered aloud to his audience, "Do you turn your head to eat a taco, or do you turn the taco for you? Like, are you dominant to the taco... or do you turn your head for the taco?" This quirky line of questioning quickly spread across social media, drawing hilarious reactions from fans.

One supporter joked on X, "Thank god he found football," while another declared, "This is my all time favourite football player." A third fan added, "I can’t express how much I enjoy this guy's personality," accompanied by laughing-crying emojis.
The stream, which also featured Skattebo playing World of Warcraft, provided a light-hearted distraction from his serious physical condition. The former Arizona State star suffered his injury during the Giants' Week 8 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on October 26. The damage included a dislocated ankle, fractured fibula, and ruptured deltoid ligament in his right leg.
Prior to this setback, Skattebo had firmly established himself as the team's starting running back and a major fan favourite. His on-field performance was impressive, having racked up 410 rushing yards and five touchdowns, alongside 207 receiving yards and two touchdowns through the air.

His absence has been keenly felt by the struggling Giants. Since the game in which he was injured, the team's record has plummeted, going 0-3 without him. This losing streak contributed directly to the recent dismissal of head coach Brian Daboll.
