A Heartfelt Reunion After a Difficult Period
The public appearance held special significance for the pair, marking a joyful reunion after a challenging few weeks. Alex had cut short her stint on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' in Australia to fly back to the UK and support Jess. This decision came after Jess's mother suffered a major stroke, requiring brain surgery.
Typically, celebrities are required to remain in Australia for the duration of the ITV show, but Alex broke protocol to be by her partner's side. Jess had previously revealed she was unable to travel to Australia for the usual family reunion due to her mother's illness. Following her early exit from the jungle, Alex was soon pictured enjoying a cosy coffee with Jess back in the UK, with the singer posting a red heart emoji on social media.

The ceremony itself was a glittering affair, with Scott co-hosting alongside Clare Balding and Gabby Logan.
