Alisson has the chance to leave Liverpool this summer as Juventus have identified the Brazilian goalkeeper as a top target. The 33-year-old is tempted by the idea of signing for the Italian giants, who are lining up a swap deal with Liverpool.
Juventus's Proposal
Juventus would reportedly offer Liverpool their current No.1, Michele Di Gregorio, in exchange for Alisson, who made his name in Serie A with Roma. The Italian club is willing to offer Alisson a contract until 2028 plus an option for an additional 12 months. Alisson's current deal with Liverpool runs out at the end of next season.
Alisson's Stance
A report from Italy claims that Alisson is open to joining Juventus, although the final decision would be down to Liverpool. Arne Slot's side are already losing two experienced players this summer, namely Andy Robertson and Mo Salah.
Alisson spent two years in Italy before his £67 million move to Merseyside in 2018. The 33-year-old helped Liverpool win the Champions League in his first season before lifting two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, and a League Cup, all while establishing himself as one of the world's best goalkeepers.
Liverpool's Future Plans
Liverpool signed Giorgi Mamardashvili in 2024, and the Georgia international is tipped to be Alisson's long-term successor. Slot was quizzed on Alisson's future last week and said: "I think the club is run in a certain way and we make decisions that the club thinks are in the best interests of the club. And it could mean this is the reason why. It could mean another good argument why we acted how we acted."
"I think the history of all the transfers shows that nothing was done without a purpose or without thinking about it. Look, the people who make these decisions take everything into account. They try to make the best decisions with the interest of the club."
"It (experience) is definitely one argument to keep him but there are other arguments. That is a decision the club has to make if that is needed. In the end, he still has one year."
