Megyn Kelly Slams Lindsey Graham as 'Homicidal Maniac' Over War Cheerleading
Megyn Kelly Calls Lindsey Graham 'Homicidal Maniac'

Megyn Kelly's Furious Rebuke of Senator Lindsey Graham's War Stance

Right-wing broadcaster Megyn Kelly has delivered a blistering condemnation of South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, branding him "a homicidal maniac with a bloodlust that is insatiable" for his enthusiastic support of U.S.-Israeli military actions against Iran and aggressive posturing toward other nations.

The SiriusXM Showdown Over Iran Conflict

During her Monday broadcast on SiriusXM's The Megyn Kelly Show, the host dissected a Wall Street Journal report detailing Senator Graham's recent visits to Israel. The article quotes Graham stating that Israeli officials share intelligence with him that "our own government won't tell me." According to the report, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented President Donald Trump with intelligence reports about Iran that ultimately convinced the president to authorize Operation Epic Fury in the early hours of February 28.

"We are 100 percent doing this because of Israel," Kelly asserted during her program. "If you used a but-for cause, would we be doing this if Israel were not involved? The answer is no, we wouldn't. We've heard that from Marco Rubio. Now we hear that from Lindsey Graham directly."

Kelly continued her critique, stating: "Israel was the one pushing for this war. And Lindsey Graham helped, and so did some Fox News contributors, and so did many others who were Israel firsters like Mark Levin."

Graham's Expanding Military Ambitions

The WSJ story further revealed that President Trump personally called Graham to thank him for his television appearances supporting the conflict. The senator reportedly "pitched Trump on bombing Iranian and Hezbollah elements inside Lebanon," receiving a non-committal response from the president.

Kelly quoted Graham's own words from the article: "What I don't understand is why more people don't do it. Try to shape these events. This is a moment of world history here. Just jump in the deep end of the pool."

Offering her stark assessment, Kelly declared: "This guy is a homicidal maniac with a bloodlust that is insatiable. He wants us – he got us into the Iranian war, Lindsey Graham. Now he wants us to get involved in a Lebanese war, which Israel's already starting or involved in, and he wants us to go into Cuba, from the sound of it, possibly."

She concluded with a forceful recommendation: "This guy should be nowhere near President Trump. He should not be allowed within 20 feet of the president's orbit, and the president should make the decision to keep this guy the hell away from him or, at least in his own mind, shut down his influence. This is not a force for good in the United States of America, Lindsey Graham."

Social Media Escalation and Wider Republican Backlash

Kelly amplified her criticism on social media platform X, posting clips from Graham's recent Fox News interview with Sean Hannity. During that appearance, Graham arguably exceeded his authority by promising Saudi Arabia a "mutual defense agreement" – a commitment he lacks the power to make. The senator also labeled Iran's leadership "religious Nazis" and called former Democratic presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden "fools" for attempting diplomacy rather than eliminating Iran's nuclear capabilities.

Responding to Graham's declaration that "I'm with Israel, until my dying day," Kelly wrote: "Att'n South Carolinians with doubts about the Iran war: your U.S. Senator says explicitly 'I'm not with you, I'm with Israel.'"

When Graham criticized Spain for refusing U.S. access to its airbases for attacks on Tehran, Kelly questioned: "When did Lindsay Graham become our president? In the past 24 hours he's threatened Lebanon, Cuba, the Saudis, the wider Arab region and now – checks notes – Spain."

Kelly is not alone in her criticism from the political right. Former Georgia GOP Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene attacked the administration on Sunday for not ruling out a potential military draft for Middle East conflicts. In a series of social media posts, Greene stated: "A bunch of psycho Republicans want to not only draft your sons but your daughters too!!!!! Send Lindsey Graham, Mark Levin, and Laura Loomer and ALL the murderous blood thirsty maniacs that support this America LAST WAR."

Greene – who has positioned herself as a prominent MAGA voice since leaving Congress in January after breaking with Trump – represents a growing faction of conservatives opposed to new American military interventions abroad. These "America First" proponents prefer domestic economic focus and are frustrated by what they see as broken promises to avoid "forever wars."

The Human Cost and Political Fallout

According to local officials in Iran, more than 1,000 people have been killed since the U.S. and Israel began striking the country over a week ago. This mounting death toll adds urgency to the debate about American foreign policy and the influence of figures like Senator Graham in shaping military decisions.

The conflict has exposed significant divisions within conservative circles, pitting traditional interventionists against the growing "America First" movement that gained prominence during the Trump presidency. As military actions continue and political rhetoric intensifies, these internal Republican tensions are likely to escalate further.
