Three Teenagers Hailed as Heroes for Saving Suicidal Man

Three schoolboys have been praised as heroes after talking a suicidal stranger down from a bridge. Shawn, Devonte and Sammy, with a combined age of 39, convinced the man not to jump, telling him he had a reason to live.

The boys appeared on ITV's This Morning to recount the incident. One recalled the man was 'crying and wiping his eyes' and said they told him, 'You've got family and stuff like that. It's not worth it.' Another admitted he was scared but didn't want to see the man die.

Host Phillip Schofield praised their maturity, asking if they feared saying the wrong thing. The trio have been commended by local police, who gave them a station tour and nominated them for the Royal Humane Society Award.
