Former World Wrestling Entertainment employee Janel Grant has submitted a new and deeply disturbing 40-page affidavit as part of her ongoing lawsuit against former WWE CEO Vince McMahon. The graphic filing contains fresh allegations of rape, coercion, and severe physical and mental abuse against McMahon, while also implicating current WWE President Nick Khan and other company employees in a cover-up.
Disturbing Details Emerge in Legal Document
Grant's affidavit, filed as part of a lawsuit originally launched in January 2024, paints a harrowing picture of systematic abuse during her time at WWE. "I felt used, leveraged, humiliated, shamed, dehumanized, intimidated, and exploited for the business and the sexual gratification of these men," Grant stated in the document obtained by The Independent.
Allegations of Predatory Behavior and Violence
According to the filing, Grant met McMahon through a friend, and he helped her secure a position in the WWE legal department in 2019 following a family tragedy. She alleges his predatory behavior began almost immediately. "Vince made his next overtly sexual move and, despite my saying no and to stop, put his hand in my pants. I do not remember what happened next because I blacked out," Grant recounted.
She further claims that McMahon created her job specifically to monitor her and facilitate predatory behaviors more easily. The affidavit details how McMahon allegedly shared explicit photos and videos of Grant with friends, including images taken without her knowledge.
Multiple WWE Figures Implicated
The lawsuit extends beyond McMahon, accusing several other WWE employees and higher-ups of complicity. Former head of talent relations John Laurinaitis is specifically named and accused of rape, while former wrestler Brock Lesnar is also implicated in the allegations.
Grant describes increasingly violent encounters, stating, "Sex with Vince and others became so violent that I often cried and suffered physical side effects, including bleeding, swelling, bruising, and incontinence."
WWE Leadership Accused of Enabling Abuse
Current WWE President Nick Khan faces serious allegations in the affidavit. Grant claims Khan was aware of her "relationship" with McMahon but never inquired whether it was consensual. More significantly, she alleges Khan attempted to transfer her to another company to shield WWE from legal liabilities.
"While I was being sexually and emotionally abused both at work and after work hours by the CEO of the company, I was aware that his top executives, Nick and Brad [Blum], were surveilling my every move and enabling Vince's abuse," the affidavit reads.
Aftermath and Broader Implications
McMahon left WWE in 2022 but has reportedly been attempting to return to the company he transformed into a global phenomenon. Grant has revealed that after leaving WWE, she contemplated suicide due to the humiliation she endured and the digital footprint of her relationship with McMahon.
The case carries significant implications beyond the wrestling world. McMahon maintains connections to political power through his now-estranged wife, Linda McMahon, who serves as Secretary of Education. The WWE and Ultimate Fighting Championship merged under TKO Holdings in 2023, with McMahon serving as executive chairman until his resignation in 2024 following Grant's initial lawsuit.
Recent Developments and Legal Proceedings
Since his departure from WWE and TKO, McMahon was involved in a high-speed car crash in Connecticut in 2026, driving over 100 miles per hour and clipping another vehicle before careening onto the shoulder. Fortunately, no serious injuries resulted from the incident.
McMahon continues to fight the lawsuit while legal representation for both WWE and McMahon has been contacted for comment regarding the new allegations. The graphic affidavit adds substantial weight to Grant's ongoing legal battle, potentially complicating McMahon's reported efforts to return to the wrestling empire he built.
