Forget everything you know about a traditional bachelorette trip—the strippers, the Vegas excursion, and phallic party favors—and replace it with a lavish, over-the-top getaway to a villa in St. Barths via private jet, all sponsored by beauty brands.
The Influencer and the Extravagant Trip
Brigette Pheloung, a New York City-based influencer with over 1.7 million followers on TikTok, has gone viral after jetting off to her brand-sponsored bachelorette party on Thursday. Known online as @Acquiredstyle, she has been documenting every moment of the multi-day celebration on social media.
Pheloung went all out, traveling in a Boeing Business Jet worth millions of dollars and staying in a private villa in St. Barths. The jet and villa were sponsored by Swan Beauty, a company that sells an $800 'smart beauty mirror' offering AI skin analysis, face mapping, tutorials from professional makeup artists, and a makeup shopping app.
The Guest List and Social Media Presence
While only her twin sister, Danielle, is in her bridal party, Pheloung invited nearly 20 friends for the sponsored weekend, including fellow content creators Kit Keenan (daughter of fashion designer Cynthia Rowley), Audrey Trullinger, Lauren Wolfe, and Klea Mulla. The group collectively has millions of followers, with Danielle boasting half a million on TikTok.
The women have been sharing every detail with their followers, starting with the private jet ride. They were greeted with drinks in coconut shells bearing her bachelorette catchphrase—'acquired a husband'—along with a buffet of breakfast foods and treats.
The Private Jet Experience
The jet featured a full-size bed, a conference table, and cashmere sofas and chairs. The bride-to-be, who is set to marry Mitch McHale this summer, carried a $35,000 mini Hermès Kelly bag. The bridal party wore neon sweatsuits from the twins' brand, phe phe, while Brigette donned a custom-made, bedazzled white suit with 'bride' on both the shirt and sweatpants.
During the flight, the group created TikTok videos and gave the bride a gift: a white Goyard tote bag worth over $2,000, with her new initials painted in bright pink.
The Villa in St. Barths
After arriving from New York City, they were transported to a large private villa for the weekend. The villa features multiple living rooms, a large kitchen, and open-air bedrooms with private views of the beach and sea. Similar multi-room villas in the area cost over $18,000 per week.
Brigette posted a tour of the lavish abode on TikTok, which garnered nearly half a million views. She showed off the huge pool filled with swan-shaped floats in honor of Swan Beauty, beachside views from the balcony, and closets full of phe phe brand clothing. Her room was decorated with big white balloons spelling 'bride.'
Goodie Bags and First Night Celebration
Brigette prepared goodie bags for each guest, packed in a neon yellow phe phe tote bag. The bags contained products from Summer Fridays, Hailey Bieber's Rhode Skin, Kourtney Kardashian's Lemme supplement line, and Emi Jay, totaling well over $200.
The first night was celebrated at French restaurant Bonito St Barths, where cocktails are served in bathtub-shaped cups and dishes like wagyu flank steak and pan-seared mahi mahi cost hundreds of dollars. The theme was 'golden hour with the girls,' with everyone in bright, neon-colored dresses and accessories. Brigette carried a bright orange Chanel bag worth over $3,000, while other guests carried Louis Vuitton and Hermès purses.
Backlash and Criticism
Despite the weekend just beginning, the group faces intense criticism for the over-the-top trip, particularly the private jet usage. Comments on TikTok include 'Out of touch,' 'Aren’t we having a jet fuel shortage crisis?' and 'I’m sick at what money can buy.' One user suggested, 'Maybe you could look for people at the grocery store to donate money to.. I just hope you’re helping the less fortunate.'
So far, only content from the first day has been posted, but more is expected to come.
