Evidence Shows Shooter Hit Secret Service Agent at WH Dinner
Evidence: Shooter Hit Secret Service Agent at WH Dinner

US Attorney Jeanine Pirro has revealed that evidence shows the White House Correspondents' dinner shooter struck a Secret Service agent. During an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper on Sunday, Pirro announced that the bullet which hit the agent came from the weapon carried by alleged gunman Cole Thomas Allen, 31.

Details of the Evidence

Pirro stated, 'Well, we have been able to determine which gun it was. First of all, there is video of the defendant shooting at the Secret Service agent. There is also the agent who will tell you himself that he was shot at. And then he returned the fire.' She added, 'But more importantly, Jake, is the fact that we now can establish that a pellet that came from the buckshot, from the defendant's Mossberg pump action shotgun, was intertwined with the fiber of the vest of the Secret Service officer.'

Pirro emphasized, 'It is definitely his bullet. He hit that Secret Service agent. He had every intention to kill him and anyone who got in his way on his way to the killing, the President of the United States.'

Questions on Target

Tapper pressed Pirro about the target of the shooting, repeating a line from the alleged manifesto that included harsh allegations against Donald Trump. 'He does say, and I want to apologize for using this language, but he does say, quote, I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes, unquote,' Tapper said.

Pirro slammed Tapper for reading that portion, saying, 'First of all, that's outrageous. I mean, there's a lot of other things you could have referred to. This guy is a hater. He hates Trump so much. He wants to kill him.'

This is a developing story.
