Corrections and Clarifications: Placenta Accreta and Artemis IV
Corrections: Placenta Accreta and Artemis IV

Corrections and clarifications have been issued for two recent articles. Regarding placenta accreta spectrum (PAS), a previous report described it as when the placenta “grows too deeply into the wall of the woman’s uterus and blocks some or all of the cervix.” While most PAS cases involve the placenta developing within a previous Caesarean scar and partially or fully blocking the cervix, it can also occur elsewhere in the uterine wall.

Artemis IV Timeline Correction

The planned human lunar landing by Artemis IV in 2028 would be the first in 56 years, not 66 years as previously stated.
