Jordan Peebles, armed with a kitchen knife, entered the shop with the intent to commit robbery. During the altercation, Peebles assaulted a staff member and proceeded to fill a bag with items from behind the counter. The situation escalated quickly as the robber threatened violence while gathering goods.

Once outside, the worker immediately closed the security shutter, effectively trapping Peebles inside the shop.
