French OnlyFans Model Arrested in Bali Over Alleged Pornography Production
French Model Arrested in Bali Over Alleged Pornography

A French woman, identified as 23-year-old OnlyFans model Melisa Mireille Jeanine, has been arrested in Bali alongside two male tourists for allegedly producing and sharing pornography on the Indonesian island, where such content is strictly prohibited by law. The arrests highlight the severe legal risks faced by foreigners engaging in adult entertainment activities in the Muslim-majority nation, which attracts millions of international visitors annually, including a significant number of Australians.

Details of the Alleged Offence and Arrests

Indonesian authorities stated that Jeanine was staying in Canggu Village, North Kuta District, with a 26-year-old French man, identified as ERB, who allegedly acted as her manager and producer, and a 24-year-old Italian man, identified as NBS, who reportedly appeared in a pornographic video while dressed as a delivery driver. Police were alerted to the case after a viral video surfaced online, purportedly showing Jeanine with the Italian driver in Bali. It is alleged that the video was filmed at Villa Pande on the afternoon of March 8.

Police Investigation and Seizures

Officers discovered the video on Friday, March 13, and promptly ordered immigration authorities to detain Jeanine and NBS at Denpasar Airport, where they were scheduled to depart Indonesia that same day. The suspects were secured at the airport and transported to Badung Police Headquarters for further legal processing. ERB was subsequently arrested in Canggu on Monday. During the investigation, Indonesian police confiscated three mobile phones, a camera, a MacBook laptop, and a motorcycle taxi vest from the three tourists.

Joseph Edward Purba, a police spokesperson, explained at a press conference on Tuesday that the motivation behind the alleged crime was financial gain from pornographic video content. He confirmed that all three suspects are now facing charges under Indonesian electronic information and transaction laws for creating and disseminating pornography. If convicted, they could each face a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison under Indonesian legislation.

Context and Previous Incidents

This incident follows closely on the heels of another high-profile case involving foreign nationals and pornography in Bali. In December 2025, UK pornstar Bonnie Blue was deported from the island after being accused of targeting Australian teenagers visiting for Schoolies to produce pornographic material. Blue had shared several short videos of herself interacting with recently graduated Australian youths at various locations around Bali.

In one notable clip, she filmed a group of rowdy Australian teens riding in the back of her vehicle, humorously remarking to parents, 'Remember when I said I was going to pick your sons up? I wasn't lying'. Although the pornography charges against Blue were ultimately dropped, she was deported after being found guilty of a minor traffic offence and working on a tourist visa, underscoring the strict enforcement of local laws regarding foreign conduct.

Legal and Cultural Implications

The arrests serve as a stark reminder of the cultural and legal differences that tourists must navigate in Indonesia, where producing and sharing pornography is illegal and carries severe penalties. Bali, while renowned as a popular holiday destination, remains part of a country with conservative values, and authorities are vigilant in prosecuting violations. This case also raises questions about the global reach of platforms like OnlyFans and the potential conflicts with local regulations in destinations frequented by international travellers.
