An Albanian national with a history of burglary convictions is openly displaying a life of extreme luxury in the UK, despite having been deported from the country on two separate occasions. Dorian Puka, 29, remains in Britain due to a pending asylum application, a legal process that prevents his immediate removal and costs the taxpayer an average of £12,000 per case.
A Lavish Lifestyle Funded by Crime
Since his unauthorised return to the UK at the end of 2020, Puka has taken to social media to boast about his expensive possessions. In a series of TikTok videos, he showcased a £185,000 Lamborghini Urus V8 while wearing a £45,000 Patek Philippe Aquanaut watch on his wrist.
Other posts feature him driving a Mercedes, this time adorned with a £24,000 Rolex Daytona. His collection of high-end timepieces doesn't stop there; he has also shown off a Rolex Day-Date worth up to £53,000 and a £17,000 Rolex GMT-Master II.
The luxury car parade extends to a £75,000 Porsche Cayenne, a £130,000 Mercedes G-Wagon, a £155,000 Bentley Bentayga, and several other premium vehicles, painting a picture of immense wealth that starkly contrasts with his criminal history.
A History of Offences and Deportations
Puka's criminal journey in the UK began in 2016 when he was jailed for nine months for attempting to break into a home in Twickenham. He was deported the following year but managed to illegally re-enter the country within 12 months.
Back in Britain, he continued his burglary spree in Greater London until he was apprehended by a plain-clothes officer in Surbiton while wearing a stolen expensive watch. This led to a second jail sentence of three-and-a-half years. Even behind bars, his offending continued as he gained notoriety by posting photos from a smuggled phone.
He was deported for a second time in March 2020, yet by January 2021, he was back on British soil, having travelled via Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
Taunting the System and the Public
Puka's social media activity goes beyond flaunting wealth; it appears to be a direct taunt towards the British public and its systems. He posted a video welcoming in the new year from a shisha lounge with a belly dancer, ending the clip with a shot of the Houses of Parliament.
In another act of provocation, he uploaded a picture of himself raising a toast next to a doctored photo of Nigel Farage. The Reform UK leader subsequently labelled him 'a proper wrong'un' and stated the country is 'literally being walked all over'.
Regarding the case, a Home Office spokesperson stated: 'Foreign nationals who commit crimes should be in no doubt that the law will be enforced.' However, they confirmed that UK law prohibits the deportation of individuals with pending asylum claims. The government has noted a surge in enforcement activity, with 3,000 individuals returned since the new government came into power, but Puka's case remains in limbo, potentially for months or years, due to a massive backlog in the immigration tribunal system.
